Outreach Committee

The missions of the Outreach committee are:

• To promote public awareness of earthquake hazards, seismic risks and seismic safety, and related issues;
• To foster public engagement in the areas of earthquake engineering;
• To raise the profile of Canadian earthquake engineering both in Canada and abroad though interactions with the profession, public and private sectors, government agencies and the general public;
• To serve as a liaison between CAEE and Canadian earthquake engineering community with international earthquake engineering communities through interactions with sister organizations of earthquake engineering abroad.
